Jan. 6--Advanced medical technology that scans and provides snapshots of organs has been adopted by many hospitals over the years, none moreso than the cash-rich private hospitals.
But how many of us choose a hospital because of technology alone?
Surely other factors such as good service, affordable bills, reliable doctors and the hospital's reputation are as important.
"For some, particularly among foreign patients, not only does technology matter, but also doctors' educational background and their surgical experiences," said Karoon Mekanonchai, medical director of Bumrungrad Hospital Plc.
